Founder | Builder | Visionary
A former international rugby professional turned master builder, Kobus van Wyk brings the same discipline, leadership, and drive that defined his sporting career to the world of construction and design.
After years of playing for teams across South Africa, France, New Zealand, England, and Italy, Kobus transitioned into the building industry — combining a lifelong passion for architecture with his natural ability to lead and deliver under pressure.
In 2023, he founded VW BUILDERS with a mission to raise the standard of modern home construction in South Africa.
Backed by certifications with NHBRC, MBA, and FEM, and hands-on experience managing large-scale residential builds and high-end renovations, Kobus is deeply involved in every project — from initial concept to final handover. Known for his strong work ethic, collaborative mindset, and impeccable design sensibility, Kobus leads with a client-first philosophy, ensuring each home is not only built to the highest standard but also reflects the unique vision of its owner.
